Who the hell am I?

Eupraxsophy: a non religious life stance or worldview emphasizing the importance of living an ethical and exuberant life, and relying on rational methods such as logic, observation and science toward that end.

Factets:

  • I’m an English Doctor, with a Heinz 57 heritage
  • I dance a lot, but not very well
  • I’ve visited 47 countries and lived in 4.. And counting..
  • I’m a humanist, although I can’t rule out the existence of russels teapot
  • I love sleeping, caipirinhas and Tottenham Hotspurs
  • I hate noisy eaters, ignorance and litter
  • I’ve learnt about five languages, to varying degrees of fluency
  • I could easily eat nothing but nachos, marshmallows and cheese for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy, if a little plump
  • I’m on instagram here, vimeo here and twitter here (yes, I like social media)

Looks like 5 of my family = 1 of you. My son is multilingual (a professor), my sister has your Eupraxsophy viewpoint and loves to travel, my husband is a retired health care practitioner, my daughter has your energy, and I like to dance but not very well. You’re amazing!

Its sounds like your family is amazing! I only pick out the good bits of course, no one would read my blog if I put up a list of faults would they?! πŸ˜‰

I don’t know about that. It seems these days people are looking for reality shows that do nothing but showcase flaws. Being human is inherently a flawed condition. πŸ™‚

Thanks for visiting my blog and liking my post on Hans Rosling. It always makes me feel good that my thoughts are reaching someone out there. Your pictures on Ecuador are beautiful. Keep it up! I haven’t been to that part of the world yet. It will be on my to do list. I just came back from a trip in France. I would highly recommend the off-the-beaten-path oyster town Cancale. I yet have to compile the pictures.

Hey Nina, thanks for following my blog, I’ve been silently visiting yours on and off for a while (ok, ok, I sound like a stalker…) and enjoying little bits and pieces. I really like the variety of stuff you put in here! I hope you enjoy my site as much as I am enjoying yours! Cheers, T

Euphraxsophist? I’ll have to remember that one as variation on my boring “agnostic” or worse, “spiritual but not religious.” Thanks for the add! Glad you enjoyed my mindless prattling.
